Victoria Police announced Monday that officers will continue to investigate an incident where WWE wrestler Chris Jericho allegedly punched a female fan.
The altercation was videotaped and posted on YouTube (explicit language).
In the video, Jericho is seen surrounded by dozens of hecklers as he leaves the Save-on Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday at about 3 p.m. He responds with a profanity-laced tirade and appears to strike a female fan — although the footage is not clear.
Two people were arrested shortly after the incident and released. Police said Jericho was not one of those people.
